Renowned basketball player Vlade Divac visited the Hilandar Monastery

Renowned basketball player Vlade Divac recently spent several days on Mount Athos. He visited Hilandar Monastery, accompanied by members of the Board of Directors and associates of the ‘Preserve Hilandar Foundation USA’.

This foundation, established by the Holy Monastery of Hilandar, aims to strengthen the bond between the Serbian diaspora and the monastery, while promoting its spiritual and historical legacy.

During a meeting held at the Hilandar Synodikon with the Abbot of the Monastery, the Very Reverend Archimandrite Methodius, the guests were briefed on the monastery’s restoration efforts, which are nearing completion, as well as on forthcoming projects.

Emphasis was placed on the activities of the Hilandar Foundation in the United States.
