His Grace Bishop Aleksej of Hvosno served Divine Hierarchical Liturgy at the Hilandar Monastery

His Grace Bishop Aleksej of Hvosno, Vicar to His Holiness the Serbian Patriarch Porfirije, presided this morning over the Divine Hierarchical Liturgy in the Cathedral Church of Hilandar Monastery, concelebrated by the brotherhood of Hilandar.

This year, Bishop Aleksej celebrates fifty years of monastic life. In the mid-1980s, he was a member of the Hilandar brotherhood. His first visit to the Hilandar Monastery was in 1972, when he was a student at the Prizren Seminary.
