Bratislav Ranđelović, president of the Society of Friends of Hilandars from Leskovac, fell asleep in the Lord

On Wednesday 11.01.2023. Bratislav Ranđelović, the president and founder of the Society of Friends of Hilandars “Sveti Kralj Milutin” from Leskovac, passed away.

He was the president of the Society since its establishment in 1998 and a great lover of Hilandar and Mount Athos.

He is remembered as a humanist and a “man with a tender heart”. Thanks to him and the members of the Association, tens of thousands of devotees from Leskovac, Serbia, and abroad visited the Hilandar monastery. He always tried to emphasize the spiritual side of devotees’ visits to the monastery, giving himself fully to all the endeavors organized by the Society of Friends of Hilandars from Leskovac.

He left behind his wife Nevena, son Luka, daughter Marija, and grandson.

May the Lord grant him the Kingdom of Heaven and eternal life!
