The Second Saint Prohor Monastic Conference Was Held
The Second Saint Prohor Monastic Conference took place in the Monastery of Saint Prohor of Pcinja on October 30th and 31st, 2023, under the auspices of the Holy Synod of Bishops and with the blessing of His Holiness, the Serbian Patriarch Kyr. Porfirije. The assembly was organized by the Eparchy (Diocese) of Vranje, with the blessing of the competent Bishop of Vranje, Mr. Pahomije, and the Holy Monastery of Hilandar.
In addition to monks from the Serbian Orthodox Church, speakers from Great Britain, Greece, Romania, and Mount Athos were present, making a total of a hundred guests and representatives from thirty-one monasteries. Among those in attendance were Bishop of Vranje, Mr. Pahomije, and following bishops who participated as speakers and guests: Bishop of Nis, Mr. Arsenije, Bishop of Dremvica, Mr. David, Bishop of Bihac and Petrovac, Mr. Sergije and Bishop of Hvosno Aleksej.
